From choosing the perfect outfit, preparing your family & More! Here is your guide to a stress-free photoshoot experience that will have you loving the end results in just a short session.
What are Mini Sessions?
Short & Sweet
Mini-sessions are quick and efficient—perfect for young kids, pets, or partners who’d rather not spend hours posing. Sessions run 15–20 minutes, which is just enough time to get great photos without the fuss. If you’re looking for multiple outfits, locations, or a longer experience, a full portrait session is a better fit.
Set Time & Location
Mini-sessions happen on specific dates at pre-selected locations, with a set schedule to keep things running smoothly. I book 20-minute sessions every half hour, with a 5-minute buffer between each one. I typically offer 4–6 sessions per day.
For Just About Anything
Mini-sessions are ideal for single families (up to 5 people), but they’re also great for headshots, senior photos, couples, best friends, birthdays, pet portraits—even dating profile pics! Just note: if your group is larger or you’re wanting more variety, a full session may be a better option.

Outdoor Mini Session
These are extremely popular as families want photos both to capture their children and family moments but also to get ready for those holiday cards.
Indoor Mini Session
In studio photos consist of me scheduling time at an additional cost at a location.
At Home Session
Sometimes its easier for me to go to you. Travel and toll fee may apply.
